Love live music and live bands (yay)? You'll be happy to know then, that the Vodafone TBA gigs will be back in full force this summer, entertaining fans across the country for free.
This time, instead of holding intimate gigs in secret venues with just one artist, TBA 2008 will reveal the locations and line-ups of what is going to be a host of multiple artist mini festivals. The Sugababes, The Feeling and Gnarls Barkley will be performing at the first TBA in Princes Street Gardens. So, just like previous years, the Vodafone TBA gigs will put showcase some of the best bands and artists on stage.
Lucky Vodafone customers will have the opportunity to win tickets for themselves and two mates by texting 61500.
Vodafone will also be premiering a range of new and exclusive content applications through Bluetooth teams who will be at the gigs to greet guests. This will include the latest videos from all performing artists and your very own java application gig guide to bring you show times, band biographies and images. Guests will also receive mementos of their experience by receiving free professional quality event images.
Vodafone has teamed up with Sony Ericsson again as the official handset partner. This gives Ericsson a chance to promote the Espresso Black W890i from its Walkman range, which is exclusively available to Vodafone customers.
The next Vodafone TBA is planned for August, with not even a hint at the line-up.
