Triumph reveals the charger bra with an AC/DC cup
A solar-powered bra (yes your eyes do not deceive you) has been developed in Japan by lingerie maker, Triumph. It was unveiled on Wednesday as being capable of generating enough electricity to charge a mobile phone or iPod.
This environmentally, and aptly coloured solar power bra includes a solar panel worn around the waist (very sexy for the beach). This is the part that generates electricity when exposed to sunlight. The electricity is distributed to various types of devices when the power cable is connected.
The bra was revealed prior to the 2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyoko Summit that will address environmental issues.
It doesn't look particularly appealing especially as the girl in the picture looks a little more than uncomfortable (this could be down to parading half-naked in public). And what are those plastic looking chicken fillets about? The material also looks like it has a towel texture and is horribly thick. I don't know how appealing the sound of having electrically charged boobs is? It's no surprise then, that the bra will remain a concept item. They clearly have some design issues. And is just me, or is this clearly not a bra?
