Personally Guitar Hero has never been my cup of tea (but I may be convinced by the new Rock Band) but it's pretty much a fail safe bet that your guy's ego is inextricably linked with his guitar powered rating. A good score will see you in flowers and chocolates for the next couple of days, whilst beating him harder than Mucca took Paul in court will lead to sulking, standoffishness and an attachment to his duvet.
