The future is here and it's Thrrum

thrumm.jpg

I've just read a press release that made me check the calendar to make sure it's not 2019. Don't worry, it's not, but this new service has surely come from the future to bring us the future of search.

It works on the idea of creating all physical objects as clickable hyperlinks. You take a photo of something (label, sign, dog, nephew) on your phone and send it as an MMS to m@mthrrum.com. You then receive a reply with relevant search results based on that picture.

Witchcraft? Or something more sinister?

To be honest, I've no idea, since the technology is "protected by an extensive suite of patents pending worldwide". The good news is, if you're on AT&T in the US, you can try it out for free now.

Please please please can someone try it out and tell me what happens in the comments?

Find out more about it here [thanks Daphne]

A look at an inspiring family and how breakfast clubs and after school activities have changed their lives

How do I go about doing this? I have AT&T and live in the US but this is the first I've heard about this mysterious witchcraft. But, I have a iPhone so I don't know if that changes anything.
