Tech friendly vintage clothes - are they having a laugh?

Tech friendly and vintage-inspired clothes sounds good doesn't it? Well in theory yes. After taking a look through the designs - definitely not. The collection looks much more like the rags worn by peasants in films depicting the 19th century. The company, Ivey Abitz, claims the clothes are practical by incorporating present-day features like a gadget pocket for mobiles, MP3 and other media devices. That's great if you want to look like you don't know how to dress.

These are the companies comments on their latest designs: "Gadgets tend to get lost in standard size pockets, so we sat down with our mobile technology and came up with custom pockets. There's no reason you should have to sacrifice function for form". Anyone would think they've just created something ground-breaking.

AND why would anyone want to sacrifice style for sack-like garments when you can just do with your gadgets what you've been doing all along - putting them in your bag or sliding them into your pocket?

I haven't got much else to say on this matter. The clothes are hideous and quite frankly I'd rather make my own extra pocket and sew it on, or wear a black bin liner. I would look really bad yes, but not as bad as these! At least I wouldn't be taken seriously.
