When we found out the key representative responsible for the Hello Kitty social networking site in Europe - Karla Buchl - was going to be in the UK for one day, we just had to bag ourselves an interview. As I'm sure you're acutely aware, some of us here at Shiny Shiny love Hello Kitty, others (ahem Susi) not so much. So we just couldn't resist the opportunity to talk about the Hello Kitty site, pink stuff and yep, you've guessed it, more Hello Kitty.

Just to give you a quick bit of background, the Hello Kitty site will give fans of the animated feline a free online multi-lingual community in six different languages. So you could potentially be mingling with other people obsessives all across Europe and Asia. Play games, take part in quizzes, talk fashion - basically knock yourself out.
