June 9th set for 3G iPhone announcement?

Should you still be inexplicably sceptical regarding a forthcoming announcement of a 3G iPhone, perhaps a date will convince you.
A press release has been sent out by the Apple Press Office, detailing a keynote, hosted by Steve Jobs, which will be kicking of the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) on the 9th June. They've promised lots of talk regarding the iPhone operating system, as well as Leopard.
Last year, Jobs used his WWDC keynote to announce the availability date of the iPhone, as well as the development of third party apps. But let's face it, if there's no 3G announcement this year, there's going to be a lot of glum faces on the flights home from San Francisco.
