Well, there’s good news and there’s bad news. The good news is that T-Mobile has released details of its plans for the HTC Diamond. They include the fact that it’ll be free on the Flext 50 tariff, and being T-Mobile, that means unlimited data with web’n’walk. The bad news is that it’s swapped the sexy ‘Diamond’ moniker for MDA Compact IV. Not quite as chi-chi, I think you’ll agree.

The stats are all the same – HSDPA, 3.1 megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.1 and pretty, pretty, pretty. There’s also a 7 day trial of Co-Pilot, the sat nav service. You’ll be able to get one from T-Mobile from July.
