Hello Kitty sewing machine - disturbing yet crafty

To me, this sewing machine looks like a Hello Kitty who has come into close contact with the business end of a baseball bat. Does the pink knob on the left not look like some kind of disgusting fleshy black eye? And the other pink bit, which I believe might have something to do with feeding the thread - surely a lolling tongue? It's disturbing, in a really crafty way.
