Congratulations on launching your own 'Ask the PM' slot on YouTube. I've had a look at your introductory speech and your YouTube channel, and I just thought I'd provide you with a bit of constructive criticism. You don't mind do you?
- You're allowed to have more than one go
So, your video started with you saying "I'm excited to launch this new exciting new initiative with YouTube". That's a lot of excitement, and a lot of new, come to think of it. Could you not just have turned off the camera and started again?
- Beige sucks
Gordon, I'm sorry if this hurts to hear, but the beige colour scheme for your YouTube channel is rubbish. Beige says 70s bathrooms, call centers and coffee with too much milk in. Come on - you're the dynamic leader of our country. Well, you're supposed to be. Live life on the edge - throw in a bit of cerise.
- Having an end date for submissions is daft
In order to take part in this, you need to have submitted your video by 21st June. Do you know what this makes me think? It makes me think that you're treating this 'Ask the PM' spot as a marketing trick. Why should there be a cut off point for the public getting answers on the issues that face them? We voted you in, and you're answerable to us. Even after the 21st June.
- Your mouth
Could you stop doing that thing between every sentence, where you open and shut your mouth? It might help out Rory Bremner, but it's driving me mad.
