This is living proof that not everything customized looks good. Deep down underneath all that plastic tat, is actually a Nintendo DS.
In what can only be described as the most heinous piece of criminal damage ever done to the great Nintendo DS, someone has done this because they thought it looked, well err, good. Perhaps they're visually impaired so I won't be too hard on who ever created this monstrosity. I'm just playing, they're not blind, just lacking good taste.
The culprit of which I speak is called King Deco, which sounds like one of those really cheesy companies from the U.S, so I should have known. It looks like a cheaply home-made jewellery box - made by a 5-year-old. Perhaps that's what King Deco specialises in? Visit their site, and you'll see that I am like so right.
Want more ugly things? Then read these: Aurora SAD lightbox - not that ugly| Ugly Footballers deserve their own website too!

My eyes are bleeding. What did the poor DS ever do to them?!
I agree, the DS does look hideous, but do you have to comment about the US having cheesy companies? Every nation has a cheesy company.
It's a Japanese company, of course its not always going to appeal to American style.
If you like cute, feminine, girly things, then this is for you :) I personally think it is pretty, but I get into moods where I am all about cute stuff, and then another day I'll want only modern and minimal things. Crazy :)
It is pretty and looks totally appropriate for a girl. I don't know why your "superior taste" tells you otherwise.
I think you just disagree with the antique look on a modern tech gadget, however contrast can be beautiful.
I think is extremely cute :) I would really like to customize mine like that. In Japan all girls stick some shiny things to electronic gadgets, even the ones that are very serious and do dress appriopriate and smart.
like they say, beauty is in the eys of the beholder. I can see it from your point of views though. Its really not hard.
I do find it pretty.
