Asaweba: Changing the face of internet shopping forever?

Do you remember the feelings of awe when you first watched Clueless? It wasn't envy at Cher's hair colour, boyfriends or lap of luxury lifestyle, no it was her amazingly computerized wardrobe! We loved it, we wanted it, and now we might be able to actually have it. And this 21st century incarnation lets you upload your own image and try on clothes from various clothing stores to see if they suit you. It's called Asaweba and lets you upload a photo to a server to then 'try' on clothes virtually.

Whilst there are no 3D options to answer the 'does my bum look big in this' question it would be a great way of telling what really doesn't suit you, and allow you to order online in more confidence. There are plans to extend it to cater to beauty aficionados by letting you test out various makeup as well. There are no plans for it to be in the UK yet, but fingers crossed, eh?
