An energy saving remote for some eco-friendly channel changing
All for one and one for all. You must be wondering why I've begun this post with the motto of the three musketeers? It's because I'm writing about the One For All Energy Saver, that's why. I was trying to be clever, can't you tell? It's also because I've been writing about quite a lot of energy saving gadgets recently, and there's only so much witty things I can say about being eco-friendly so I thought I'd opt for a change with this one.
The One For All Energy Saver, which is a remote control by the way, is a great device for the heavily lethargic. This is because you can switch off not only your TV, but a selection of other appliances too (DVD players, stereos and other AV gadgets), with a simple press of a button. I'm not talking about putting it on standby, this turns your devices completely off. So no more having to physically get up and turn off the TV by hand (ugh).
This is how it works. Plug the energy saving gadget into the wall, then connect up to 4 devices (TV, DVD Player, PS3, digibox - you decide). When you press the special energy saving button, you apparently make an energy saving of 90%.
If you wanna cut those bills down you can get one from a variety of stockists such as John Lewis and Argos for £39.99. Available at the end of the month. That means no more excuses for leaving your gadgets on standby.
