Have you done everything you wanted to do today? Yes? Then I'll begin. Typeracer is an online game where you can test your typing speed against other interneters. Sound a bit to Mavis Beacon? Ha! I challenge anyone to stop after their first try - this site is more addictive than nicotine-laced crack.
Personally, I've got an average speed of 44 words per minute, placing me firmly in the average category (most of my races were spent back tracking and deleting). However, go along and represent Shiny, if you would, and let us know your scores in the comments.

92 wpm, hooray!
Oh dear - my highest was 58, but I averaged about 44.
In my defense I'm better typing long documents out of my head than copying something else on the screen. And I tend to go back and fix the typoes after as its faster!
My average was 54, and my highest was 63. That's good enough for me.
Is it quite geeky that my first two races I got 80 and 83 WPM?
I'm rather ashamed at myself...
58wpm. That'll do, I reckon.
Whew. I appear to be a fast typist... 100wpm best score! I guess a couple of years' serial temping will do that to a girl...
Woo Hoo, competitive typing, I never thought something so nerdy could be such fun. Even with a dodgy space bar, I'm averaging 35 - 40 wpm and considering I haven't typed anything longer than a login for 2 years, I'm well pleased.
New favourite website for sure...I'm spreading the word.
After five races, my average is 88wpm and my highest is 103wpm.
