I am a geek. Not just for all things Shiny and Shiny, but for all things London. And before you start the hating because you're not Londonified, just remember that this awesome scheme might be up and running around you soon.
Someone somewhere has mapped all books regarding London onto Google Earth, which means you can search out books that relate to a certain area, or even street. Brick Lane for the East End, Samuel Pepys diary for the City - stuff like this is what the internet was made for.
You can even add your own, making this a user generated reading project. It's not perfect - you should be able to click on the thumbnails and be taken straight to Amazon - but it's a great way to spend an afternoon discovering the best cities in the world.
