Grill your own kebab at Glastonbury or cook indoors with the Barbegrill

barbegrill.jpgThe recent spate of heavy rain has made us a bit skeptical and quite upset. This is because the prospect of having a hot summer is slipping further and further away from our grasp.

Fear not, as you can bring your summer activities indoors. Well, almost. You can't bring in your outdoor badminton or swingball kits (unless you're house caters for that kind of space), but you can now cook indoors. Using something other than an oven. Wooop!

This is the Barbegrill. A nice little portable device that unites the world of barbecues and grilling together. What I like about this, is that you're able to control the heat levels due to a variable infra-red heat control system. What I like even more is this means waving goodbye to serving those incinerated sausages and burgers that you always (without fail) manage to reduce to ashes, no matter how hard you try. The Barbegrill even toasts bread and simmers your soup (in a saucepan of course).

It's great for campers, festival goers and people who want a BBQ but can't because the weather is s#*@!! The only specification for using it indoors is that you make sure it is well vented. So crack open a window basically and you're good to go.

It's likely to rain on Bank Holiday Monday so why not have an indoor barbeque party instead?

Make heavily incinerated sausages a thing of the past. Firebox has it for £29.95.
