We told you about Facebook bringing some handy chat functionality a few weeks ago, and now according to some UK sites, it's available. So, of course, I ran over to check it out but alas! No chat functionality for me. But maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.
From the look of it (and the Facebook blog) it will appear at the bottom of your browser, allowing you to chat to friends who are online, which presumably means you don't have to be on Facebook itself. Woah. That's big. That's a MAJOR time sapper.
Hmmm. Well, if you can get it on your browser, let us know how it goes. And whether you ever actually get any work done ever again. And of course, whether all that is complete trash and it's limited to Facebook.
