The BBC seems about to make good on their promise to make the iPlayer available on as many platforms as possible, with news that it's going to be available shortly on the Wii. There are very few details available at present, but it's great news for those who would rather not be chained to their computer desk to catch up on The Apprentice.
Once it's all up and running, Wii owners will get a notification, after which time they'll be able to access the iPlayer through the Internet Channel on the Wii.
So, the Wii now has fitness games, Gavin and Stacey and other BBC goodness, Mario Kart, and my personal favourite, the chance to while away hours creating your own special Mii (hi Hangle!). Why would you not have one of these??
