Why, yes, I am a little sad and geeky, thanks for asking. But so are you, because you know what that 42 refers to, don't you?
If you don't, well, you won't want these H2G2-referencing earrings, which I think also happen to be quite pretty. Your geeky friends will probably like them, though, and they're only $13.
In a related but macabre note, if you are in any way a fan of Douglas Adams and are within easy access of London, take a trip to the East section of Highgate Cemetery. His grave is the utterly simple, elegant, typically Adams one that's about a tenth the size and grandeur of that belonging to some bloke called Karl Marx.

Sad and geeky and damn proud of it. I have a t-shirt that says "Mostly Harmless" on the front (also the name of my personal blog) and "42" on the back, and I love it to bits.
...I think my boyfriend won't appreciate if I tell him I've added a graveyard to the itinerary our our perhaps-maybe-someday trip to London. He was a bit freaked out when I told him I wanted to find Roger Zelazny's grave somewhere in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
