Or is it just an excuse to say that your clock stopped working so you overslept? I'm not sure I would trust a solar-powered gadget without some sort of backup because I know our Sun Jar, lovely though it is, can be a bit flaky.
Still, if you have a nice sunny windowsill to pop this one it should charge all day and keep going all night.... and all the next day... for a year. That's right, the makers are claiming that one day's exposure will provide enough light for a year without being topped up again.
