Dell's XPS One, billed as being not just a PC but an "iconic multimedia system", is now available in the UK, France and Germany, some four months after the Americas and Japan. The HDTV-packing system is Dell's fashion statement in the company's bid to make more attractive, aesthetically desirable products. This probably explains the evident Apple influence in the design, which involves a tempered glass HD display option, touch controls and integrated webcam.
In addition, a (PRODUCT) RED version (pictured) will become available. Each purchase of one, along with the (PRODUCT RED) Windows Vista Ultimate will see Dell and Microsoft making a combined donation of $80 to the Global Fund fighting AIDS in Africa.
The XPS One (PRODUCT) RED standard specificiation includes a dual core processor, 2GB of RAM, 500 GB hard drive, DVD+/- RW Drive, a 20" LCD display, 8-in-1 card reader and wireless keyboard and mouse. It's £1299 including VAT and delivery.
Finally, a new Crystal Monitor with super-clear glass will make its debut in western Europe in late spring, providing a 22" widescreen 1680 x 1050 option.

I'll hunt you down the right $ amount but I beleive it is closer to $80, not $800, that goes to RED. A donation all of us at Dell are still proud to make.
