I thought coating a MacBook Air in heavy, clunky, black Swarovski crystals was bad, but clearly I'm a complete amateur. Apparently an ornate swirl of gold plated crystals is the way to go. Yech.
On the plus side, surely no-one will ever mug you for this, even if it is worth £20,000? I appreciate you might find silver boring but then I implore you to just stick to an elegant ColorWare paint job. Even pink is better than this... Just 18 "Golden Age" editions will be sold by Selfridges from the 18th of March.

it may seem clunky, but i dont see the competition between the two companies of Bling-My-Thing.com and CrystalIcing.com.... one looks a bit more qualified and way more art goes into the BLing-My-THing stuff... the gold is alot to take in, but wow, the art is amazing. like a gold Monet! BMT is really good at what they do and it shows.

I guess these crystal arts are something you either hate or love. It is a pity that some do not find it interesting, but there are a plenty of others who get a lot of pleasure by owning these sparkly things. So it is worth serving these people with our creativity!
Jen, thank you for your lovely comment. We work really hard to come up with original designs and hours of work go into drafting and preparation... so sometimes it IS very dissappointing to be categorised as the same as those who "just glue stones on the surface". I hope that one can see the difference...
Well competition... We just provide different styles... CI has many lovely designs which we do not have! But now we have Kellie DeFries in the US, the ex CI designer, to carry on our mission to make the world the more sparkly place! She has the most amazing use of colours. So unique.
