
Tinyurls are fab for condensing overly elaborate URLs and sending them about, but they're not terribly meaningful. Tinyurl.com/4rgo63o doesn't mean much to me, anyway. MeaningfulURL.com allows a similar condensing process, but allows you to swap the tinyurl portion for something more meaningful, like thanks.to or invite.you.to. You can the then pick the latter portion. For instance, I condensced the URL for the new iPhone story into
. Unfortunately, the addresses expire after three days, but damn, during you can do lots during those three days...

Sounded good at first, but then I noticed that they expire in 3 days. So I'll stick with tinyurl, thanks.
And they restrict the type of content you can post. No thanks.
