I've wrestled with my conscience over writing about this bizarre competition to encourage "sophisticated and sexy" ladies to debase themselves online for the dubious honour of being crowned Miss Playboy Mobile 2008.
Pros: hits from people looking for naked ladies who will instead get no naked ladies and exposure to that strange (to them) phenomenon known as feminism, making the world a better place. Also, catharsis through a public outlet.
Cons: hits from people looking for naked ladies, making me feel cheap. Also, free advertising for the organisers.
Catharsis wins out every time. Three letters, people... W. T. F.???
*sob*

Urgh, I feel your pain. I wish ad campaigns wouldn't rely on outraged bloggers to do their work for them!
I know what you mean, the Internet makes me cry sometimes too - like when your site launches those annoying full-screen pop-unders that I have to close before they even load.
Whoops! There goes another one [wail]
