Samsung has added a new flagship phone for 2008, which will debut formally at the World Mobile Congress next week - and you can bet Susi will be on hand to take a look.

The 'Soul' apparently completes the Ultra Edition handset series which aims to offer style-conscious consumers a fashionable yet powerful phone. Available from April, the 12.9mm slim, lightweight slider features a navigation system that adjusts according to the mode you're using - also known as "Magic Touch".

So, when you're in music mode, expect music related icons to appear before you. And if you're in the camera mode, these will switch accordingly. There's also a choice of three Thematic UIs, so the interface can be adjusted to your preferences and you can even make your own customised display skins.

Soul's camera packs five megapixels, face detection, Wide Dynamic Range and image stabilization, and in terms of media the musical experience is heightened by ICEpower amplifier technology from Bang & Olufsen.

Finally HSDPA support means you should be whizzing through Internet tasks and browsing on the go with ease.
