I was all set to go incandescent with righteous indignation complaining about this mobile when Zara rather took the wind out of my sails by leaning over my desk and squealing "Ooh, that's cute!".
So there is now evidence that an intelligent, tech savvy woman could like this teddy-bear bedecked handset, which is a collaboration between Sagem and Lulu Castagnette. Alright, the my411C is not really aimed at grown-up women so much as younger girls - even if Zara is showing her youthful streak - but I still instinctively want to put my grouchy tone of voice on and mumble about it being twee. So I shall. Especially when it turns out the spec is very basic; kids are always more advanced than their parents, so let's not insult them.
