1. Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
My, what a pretty and yet totally functional phone. It's the star of the show, thanks to it's ergonomic design, full QWERTY keyboard, WiFi and Windows Mobile OS. In fact, its almost enough to make me want to ditch the Converses in exchange for something all together more business-like.
2. Sony Ericsson Cybershot C902
I thought Sony Ericsson had the best product line-up by a country mile, and this Cybershot confirmed it. The camera emerges when you pull the two ends of the phone apart, and it boasts 5 megapixels, touchscreen controls, face detection and multi-point focus.
3. KF700
Where one input method is just not enough, the KF700 steps into view. It's got a touchscreen, jog wheel *and* numeric keyboard, so there's always variety to your input. And what more could you ask for in a mobile? HSDPA, widgits and great multimedia functionality? You've got it.
4. N96
I'm not fantastically keen on Nokia phones, but even I could see that this one is pretty sweet. 16GB of onboard memory, boostable to 24GB, video playback, 30fps video recording and a 5 megapixel camera. Yes, it looks like an iPhone killer on paper. It's just when you get it in your hands that you start questioning it...

5. Musicstation for LG
It's not an official handset quite yet, since it was just the partnership between LG and Omnifone, but it sounds good. You'll get unlimited music, for unlimited playback and sharing. The phone will be HSDPA and have a touchscreen interface. Sound to good to be true? We hope it doesn't disappoint.
6. Samsung Soul
Half touchscreen, half normal screen, it's swanky looking without skimping on specs. There's a 5 megapixel camera, face detection and a speaker courtesy of Bang & Olufsen.
7. N78
This Nokia features all it's best recently announced service stuff, including geotagging on your photos, for use with your GPS, Nokia Music Store and Ovi, their new portal for storage and sharing of your media.
8.Z10
Motorola have been ever so quite this year, mainly because they launched their handsets back at CES in January. However, we're still dead keen on the Z10, which promises to give you Scorcese worthy video editing tools in a handy handset.
9. Sony Ericsson W980
This new Walkman handset features speaker technology to recreate proper sound, rather than that awful tinny noise. There's an FM transmitter in there, so you can play your music on your car stereo, A2DP Bluetooth, a 3.2 megapixel camera and external MP3 controls.
10. Colourful Blackberry Pearls
OK, so nothing says 'we don't have anything to announce' like a press release on a paint job, but we're Shiny Shiny - we love colour. So sue us.

So, the X1 being announced at the same time M$ announces buying Danger ensures that I will be buying an X1 and not a Hiptop, assuming the X1 lands in Australia any time in the next century. Not holding my breath, but.
