*Phew* Almost there, as this is the last announcement (so far!) from Sony Ericsson at MWC 2008. The Sony Ericsson G700 and G900 are described as 'a new generation of phone', but even with the fashionable touchscreen control, there's nothing really revolutionary here.
These are billed as 'organisers', since they hold your contacts, calendars, notes, pictures and websites all in one place and just a touch away. In terms of specifics, the G700 uses the Symbian OS and has a 2.4-inch display, 3.2 megapixel camera with 3x zoom, a touch-controlled Notes application (write and draw your memos), media player, A2DP Bluetooth and the Opera web browser.
The Sony Ericsson G900 has all the features of the G700, but adds a 5 megapixel camera with touch auto focus and multi-shot function and Wi-Fi connectivity. The G700 will launch in Silk Bronze and the G900 will launch in Dark Red and Dark Brown. Both will be available in selected markets from the middle of 2008.
