Sony Ericsson launched a brand new range and handset at MWC 2008; the Xperia brand's first offering is the X1.
It's an 'arc' slider phone, which is essentially is a curved, ergonomic handset with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and 3-inch wide VGA display contained in a metal-finish body; it's packing the Windows Mobile operating system as opposed to the P-series' choice of Symbian. Other features of the Prism-esque styled smartphone include touch and optical joystick navigation, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and photo light, A2DP BLuetooth, Wi-Fi, aGPS and 400MB of storage (extended via microSD card).
You can get it in black or silver from the middle of 2008.
