Oh my god, I'm in love with Mandy Moore (after falling unexpectedly in love with the new Sony Walkman, today is proving to be a rollercoaster of surprise feelings). Why did no one tell me how peppy she is? She's launched a website, uPumpItUp, designed for women to inspire them through a variety of challenges, and build a community of GoGetters and TeamPlayers. Or something. You can join other people's challenges or create your own and invite people to join.
Yes, it's a marketing ploy. Yes, it's got funny little videos of life coaches who obviously don't know what to do with their hands. But really, is it doing anyone any harm? It's nice to find activities to cheer you up when you're feeling rubbish, get you active when you're feeling bored and make you feel good when everything around is making you want to bash your head against a wall.
I don't know what's happening to me. I seem to be turning into a cheerleader. And I suddenly want to go and cover myself in Crystal Light, despite having no idea what it actually does.
