LEGO-ish media players and iPod dock from Homade

They don't appear to be actually LEGO branded - worryingly, I happen to know that LEGO provides you with a 16-page PDF on branding guidelines, including always spelling "LEGO" in capitals with the trademark the first time it appears - but these colourful building block audio systems are certainly meant to evoke memories of making your own LEGO village.

The media players conceal their controls in the raised dots and provide 6 hours of battery life. The primary-coloured plastic blocks are $46, but don't appear to come with any internal memory or microSD card out of the box, so you'll have to provide up to 2GB of storage for yourself. Still, there are some more budget-conscious accessories you could go for instead.

If you already have an iPod but still enjoy the building block chic, then try the iStereo dock which packs speakers beneath the bumps and runs to just $40. There's also a single speaker with iPod dock for just $16.99, but it looks, frankly, a little odd.
