Crystal Icing has long since ceased to surprise me in terms of tacky bling, but at least on previous occasions the Swarovski bath received by the innocent gadget in question hasn't actually countered the selling points.
What do we know about the MacBook Air? That it's sleek, light, and thin. Now it's trashy, half a pound heavier and an eighth of an inch thicker. Rendering it just a basic featured, even more expensive, fairly thin laptop. I know people like bling, but this is just taking the joy out of everything.
