ColorWare gets the paintbox out for the MacBook Air (pink is an option)

ColorWare has got its magic paintbox out to offer colourful customisation for the superslim MacBook Air. Catching the ad again on TV last night, I realised that yes, I was still irritated by the jarring choice of black keys but, hey, if I painted the whole thing different colours it would just look glossily perfect.

Well, that's if I wanted to pay $500 on top of the price of the - expensive - laptop. Well, probably more as I'm UK based. And that's before the $50 per extra customisation if I want more than one colour. Or I could by a new one from $2499. In theory, it's all a great idea... right? Above is my scarily pinked up edition; beyond the jump is a much saner and more attractive all-black version.
