Picture the scene: I've just updated my Facebook status with last night's escapades, tagged myself in several compromising photos and deleted one friend whose Christmas card list I probably won't be on this year. And then I check my friend request and have a new one. From my father.
This is apparently an increasingly common issue, as those who are old enough to know better get in on social networking. So, who have you received friend's requests from? And don't worry - you can tick more than one.

Also added, but not in the survey, my little brother and my younger cousins.
It goes the other way. I am 45 and have a 15 year old daughter. I have received friend requests from six of her friends. I also receive requests from my students, who are in university, but still...do they really think I want them to see my private bits and pieces?
I am friends with my daughter but I never ever ever comment of anything on her page or anywhere else--- and that comes from me. I had my account first and had to coax her into it with promises of good equestrian groups. :)
Hows this for odd..
From my Dad's female co-worker...
*cringe*
