My mate Sam is a developer, and a leftie, so used to the right hand bias that he actually designs, plays games and flicks through code using his right hand. My boyfriend is gearing up for a lifetime of carpal tunnel syndrome using his left index finger for both buttons, but he is at least using a symmetrical, left-or-right handed mouse. Perhaps they should both be introduced to Cherry Ergo-Shark's cheap(ish) multi-function wireless mouse for left handers.
With seven mouse buttons and four-way programmable scrolling funtion, it pretty much does everything a good mouse should. Mouse placement is also flexible with at least 10m of cable-free, erm, mousing, and a Teflon surface for super-smooth surfing. £34.99.
