It's the end of a zeitgeist, my friends. MySpace may have been the beginning of the social networking for many people, but when it's got its own Day of Hate, it's time to find another bandwagon. Blogger Simon Owens has decided he's leading the revolution, and has declared today 'International Delete Your MySpace Account Day'.
Clearly the obnoxious music and the overly complicated banners have become too much for the poor chap, but he's actually compiled a list of ten reasons why he's instigating this fight. But MySpace aren't taking this lying down. Oh no. They've countered the argument saying that they don't expect it to have a great impact on their network, claiming Simon is just trying to be controversial. Oooh, MySpace handbags at dawn.
