Friday Video Fun: Johnny Chung Lee's head-tracking by Wii-mote for virtual reality displays

Johnny Chung Lee wanted to create a virtual reality-style illusion of depth and movement so he made a sensor bar, mounted it to his head, and used the infrared camera from a Wii-mote to track his movement.

It's all very clever, but I have to admit I smirked hugely at the idea that mounting the sensors to a baseball cap is "a little bit goofy" but mounting them to protective specs gives you "a nice, sporty, safety goggle form factor".
