It does seem to be a month for video camera launches, but none as small or as cheap as this one! The Disgo Video Plus is a pocket sized camcorder that combines a 2x digital zoom and built in microphone speaker within a tiny white casing. This palm sized recorder may not be the most advanced on the market, but at this price you really can't quibble can you? It has a 1.5 inch flip out colour screen for easy recording, and it's multi angled so you can also film yourself if you like getting narcissistic/voyeuristic.
There are two retractable USB connectors on the camera for easy file transferring and all videos are saved in AVI format, which is extremely useful if you want to upload them to any kind of portable media player. Any editing can actually be dine on the camera with the integrated manager software, which also allows you to save individual frames as images.
The Disgo is powered via 2 AA batteries, and has enough internal memory to video up to 60 minutes in one go. If you're a budding auteur you can use an external memory card- SD or MMC to get longer length movies. This camcorder has a lot of features you wouldn't expect to have on such a cheapie, being that it automatically adjusts exposure and colour balance, and shoots in VGA quality. You can also connect directly to a TV for instant playback. Sorted.
