Finally, a Sony product that we know is coming to the UK! The α200 (That's alpha, not A, although it has been dubbed the A200) is the follow up to the popular α100 camera.
The α200 promises powerful noise reduction and image processing techniques, as well as a 10.2 effective megapixel CCD sensor with new noise reduction circuitry. There's also Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation for those with the shakes, the D-Range Optimiser for more balanced exposure and contrast, a 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD and an InfoLITHIUM NP-FM500H rechargeable battery pack that allows for up to 750 shots between charges.
