After disappointing quite a few with an underwhelming mobile TV announcement, LG did attempt to cheer up the CES-goers with a cameo from Mark Levinson and the launch of a range of new LCD and Plasma TVs.
All 1080p screens were ISF-ready and most were THX certified. In total there will be four new product series' and eight new models for Plasma, six of which are full 1080p resolution units. The PG70 is the flagship group to watch out for, featuring full HD and being free of wires.
LCD lovers get eight new product series' and 17 1080p models, including a 42" LGX model which is just 1.27" thick (gaining on JVC are they?) and the wireless LED flat panel LG 70 series.
There's also the Design Art-style Bedroom TV, which is all about the pretty red accents, so LG is now about to leave its recent foray into design behind.
