CES 2008: iShoes - weirdly, nothing to do with iPods

ishoes_ces.JPGThe iName bug strikes again, this time taking in this, erm, stylish footwear which is designed to let you strap yourself in and tootle along at Segway-ish speeds of maximum 13.5mph. Essentially motorised rollerskates, the iShoes have been around for a few months but rocked up to CES to show off their newly tweaked triangular design. They're "inspired by Apple and Lamborghini". Yes, really.

If they sound like the kind of thing you'd like to idly try out, beware. The basic unit is $599.99 and will only take you up to 3 miles on a two hour charge.
