500x giant iPod earbuds: a Photoshop controversy

iPod earbuds. First they were cool, then they were uncomfortable, then we realised they were shit. Then we went back to using them with our iPhones until we grudgingly shelled out for an adaptor. And now, they're attempting a return to cool again by being magnified 500 times.

Well, they're not doing it themselves through some weird Alice in Wonderland process, you understand. Of course you do. Anyway, Fred's has blown 'em up and they include a built-in amp and run on batteries, plugging into your PC's USB port. While the promo shot is clearly a really clunky bit of 'shopping and despite early suspicion the lovely Brian is convinced that they're real. Are they? Do you know? In fact, you're responsible, aren't you?
