I see some people groaning, ‘In my days a bit of fresh air and walk was all you needed for excercise,’ but others like me will sit open mouthed in deep awe at the exciting artifact that is the Fly Bar. Whether it’s the Pogo like proportions of the possibility of leaping tall buildings whilst looking like you’re an extra on a building site that does it for me I’m not sure, but all of the sudden I have the urge to get out my credit card and try it for myself. It even has celebrity credentials, with pro skateboarder Andy MacDonald helping to design this, and is a great way to get fit and have fun.
It works via an adjustable rubber spring system, and is completely powered by leg strength and body weight, and is a low impact exercise, which means no strain on your joints. It supports up to 180lbs and allows you to launch yourself up to 4 foot in the air! It weighs less than 13lbs so it’s ultra portable, and just think how cool you’ll look bopping to work like this! This aluminum Flybar has been described as a pogo stick on steroids and we can see why. Now where did I put my needles.. (only joking).
