I got a chance to get hands on with a hoover last night. Not something I usually get excited about, but this was a special hoover. Dyson worked with Issey Miyake on the set design for the Paris Fashion Week launch of the Spring / Summer 08 collection, and the clothes were created to complement the Dyson engineering process. Sounds weird? It is, but also rather pretty.
Now, the sound quality in the video is a bit rubbish, it's true, so just in case you can't hear everything I say, here are the highlights along with the rest of the important facts: Six minutes on a full charge (takes three hours, but there's 30 seconds on juice on the machine out of the box), £99.99, available December 1st in the UK, pretty.
The DC16 will be available online and in selected stores in the UK and across Europe, the US and Japan. There's no confirmation of exactly how long "limited" is, but the suggestion is you will be able to get your hands on these well into next year.
