Forbes, along with providing serious news to a serious audience, also produce an annual list of the top 25 web celebs. This year, the crown was taken by Perez Hilton, with Michael Arrington of TechCrunch second and Mark Frauenfelder of Boing Boing third. However, as Cate over on Dollymix quite rightly points out, there are only four of the 25 entries who are women. Gina Trapani (Lifehacker) was the first woman on the list, coming in at number seven. Jessica Lee Rose (LonelyGirl15) was the only women in their "near misses" category, and Violet Blue was kicked off the list the year.
