My friend Sean has a habit of saying "I love birds, innit?" ironically, and that's all I can hear in my head as I write this. But there is actually a good reason for getting a solar heated bird bath, and it's not so that Tweety Pie can have a jacuzzi.
Effective up to -20 degrees - Alaskans rejoice - this stops the water in your birdbath from freezing so the Christmas robins and company can all still have a drink without having to wait for the ice to melt. Likewise in warmer weather the insulation keeps the water cooler so they can refresh themselves all year round. All together now: Awwww.
