The Giftee:You might have someone on your Christmas list who donated you a kidney this year, paid off your student loan, or perhaps you're just really rich. In which case, our recent parade of reasonably priced gifts probably hasn't hit quite the spot. If you fall into any of the above categories, it doesn't matter who the giftee is. Everyone appreciates a £1,000 present, no matter what form it takes. And because here, we'd like a £1,000 plus present with a power plug, we're going to look at gadgets.

Best site: Comet. They've got buyers guides, a gift finder and web deals. And they've still got six days til you have to make the final internet order. Bonus.
Best product:HP Pavilion DV9667. There's very little you could ask a laptop to do, that this laptop won't be able to perform. It's got an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which although it sounds scary, will become your new best friend when you realise it makes everything run faster, smoother and happier. There's an integrated TV tuner, you can watch DVDs, and if you want, you can even do some excel spreadsheets.
Alternatively: We're not sure - we never have enough money to look at this stuff. Try BornRich.
