You shouldn't text and drive. This is a fact. No, you shouldn't use your phone either and to be honest I'm not complete convinced that hands free kits aren't just as distracting as waving your phone around near your ear, but at least they're legal.
This is the ultimate deterrent. The CellCoach is installed permanently underneath the dashboard. When the vehicle's ignition is engaged, if any mobile rings, makes a call or receives / sends a text message, a piercing beep is emitted which will persist until the mobile ceases to be used or is switched off. There are parental keys so I really hope it's possible to set this to only go off when there's just one person in the car. Otherwise next time you're lost and a passenger calls to get directions you'll all need to break out the migraine pills.
