SAD boxes may banish that depression that tends to set in when the days get shorter, but they sure don't look too pur-ty. Luckily, someone has realised that lightbox does not have to equal big ugly box, and produced a range of slightly more attractive versions.
The one pictured is the Aurora box, which acts as a SAD box when needed, and can then be dimmed to provide 'mood lighting' when not required. According the website, since SAD is a recognised as disabling you can get the boxes VAT free, which is going to go some way to lift those winter blues.
