The Pleo dinosaur has suffered from delays the likes of which Royal Mail postal strikers wish they could cause. Remember Pleo? The robot dinosaur that this man really, really loved? Well, it seems an end - and delivery - is now in sight.
Manufacturer UGOBE has announced that customers who pre-ordered the cuddly robot directly from them should receive a 30-day shipment notification soon. In fact, before Thanksgiving, whihc means delivery should be in time for the December holidays. In the meantime, it's also promised a 'surprise mode' download from the new website and free software updates as of next year. The indication of an open source future to come for this dinky dino?
